IT'S A CELEBRATION

Useful Information

Our wedding will begin at 4pm on 21st June at 805 Pioneer Drive. Here’s everything else you need to know.

TRANSPORTATION

For interstate guests, a bus service is available that will start from Darwin City.

Bus will have Grand Touring written on it.

 

2:30pm - cnr of Smith St and Harry Chan Ave, Darwin City.

2:50pm - Front of Quest Apartments, The Boulevard, Palmerston.

3.00pm - Front of Coolalinga Tourist Park,  Stuart Hwy, Coolalinga.

It is expected the bus will arrive at the venue around 3.30pm.

Bus will leave venue at 11pm to return guests to their accomodation.

Bus transport is by registration via RSVP form only. If your transport requirements change, please notify Candice and Woody ASAP.

Please ensure you are at your pickup point well before the times above to ensure you arrive on time.

The bus driver is instructed not to wait for stragglers.

ACCOMODATION

There are a number of accommodation options around Darwin. Try to book somewhere close to the bus pick up points. Here are some suggestions.

In addition to the above there are other hotel /apartment options and short stays such as AirBNBs available around the allocated pick up points.​​​​

ATTIRE

We are so excited to have you dress up with us! Please wear cocktail attire for the wedding and be ready for dancing!

We would like to inform everyone that the reception and ceremony will both be hosted on watered ground so we encourage you to avoid stiletto style heels. 

Please note that while we do expect warm weather on the day, we encourage you to bring a cardigan or jacket along with you as the temperature often becomes chilly over night in June. 

CHILDREN

There is plenty of space for the children to run around before and after the ceremony, but we request that children remain quiet and settled during the ceremony and speeches.

While we welcome children of all ages to our wedding ceremony and reception, we ask that  parents monitor their child's whereabouts at all times for their safety as there will be alcoholic slushie machines unsupervised, animals on property and an UNFENCED swimming pool near the reception area.

PHOTO SCHEDULE

We would love to capture our big day with all of our loved ones who are able to attend. 

We will be assigning numbers to each group photo and guests will be notified in advance which photos we want them captured in, so we would appreciate if all guests are able to wait around the ceremony location for their group photos. We are hoping this will ensure a quick, organised photography session for everyone. 

After the group photos, guests are invited to enjoy nibblies and drinks with lawn games available while the bridal party continue on with photos. 

Please note that we will have the photographer during the reception as well, so there will be plenty of time later in the evening for individual photos with the bride and groom.

REGISTRY

The greatest gift you could provide to us on our big day is joining us in the celebration.

As we won't be able to be everywhere at once, we would love for you to capture and share photos of your day. Photos can be shared in the onedrive link below or via email to mudfordwoods@gmail.com .

 

We do ask that guests refrain from posting photos of the bridal party on social media until after we have had the opportunity to post some ourselves.
